Cole the Destroyer wants some CHOCOLATE! Just like his mommy!

Hmmm...what's in this bottle?

I think I'll open it.  This lid is just like my diaper cream and I am a pro at opening that.

Uh Oh! The chocolate is everywhere!

Mom caught me before I could taste it.  Now if I could just lick my toe...

(This is a close-up of the shelf.  Who knew he would get it open and spill chocolate?)
P.S.  I will post pics of West Virginia trip soon!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Mommy made you a birthday cake!

And I helped!

This is my favorite place to play in the kitchen.

Look!  I'm doing it ALL BY MYSELF!!!  I can walk too, but Mom hasn't been able to capture a picture yet because I fall after 3 or 4 steps.

10 month pics

I know I am a few days early but we will be in a whirlwind the next few days as we prepare to travel to West Virginia to see Aunt Amanda, Uncle Mark, and cousins Adelle, Ethan, and Max.  We are really looking forward to it.
So this morning Cole and I went to get his picture taken.  He looked handsome and smiled great for each one.  Here is the website http://myonlineportraits.com/.  You might have to click Sign In (instead of View My Portraits).  Enter my email address: chelsea.gerleman@gmail.com and then the password is gerleman.
Enjoy!

Such a little boy!

Cole picks up most of his toys with his mouth and then crawls around.

This ball is one of his favorites.  Does he look like a puppy?

Boxes of fun!

"Do I look like my Dad?"

This has to be my favorite picture to date.

This post is for Uncle Chad- See the last picture

Enjoying a beautiful day outside!
Cole was scraping his egg on the cement so I thought he might like some chalk but all he wanted to do with the chalk was eat it.
If you can believe this, Cole threw his cup off the highchair and this is how it landed!  Pretty sure we couldn't do that again if we tried.
If he could say it, I believe the caption for this picture is, "Hi Yah!"
"I like the ride Dad, but can you quit making it bounce?"
This mohawk is for you Uncle Chad!  He wouldn't sit still long enough for me to get a good picture of it. =)

NOT Ready for this!

After asking the doctor on March 1st for information on how to transition Cole into his own bed, we finally decided to try it last night.  We knew it was going to be hard but had no idea what we were in for.  There are definitely some lasting effects; here are pictures of the damage done by Cole the Destroyer.  Long story short, he cried a total of 3 1/2 hours, puked all over, took off his pajamas, and turned his crib into wood shavings.  We cleaned the paint chips off his face and brought him back to bed with us at 6am.

Here you can see the inside of the top rail.  It used to be solid brown.
Another look at the battle scars.
And a close up.  The crib was white until we painted it brown.  Now you can see the brown, white, AND wood underneath.

To end on a happy note...
These were the first and last pictures on the camera last night.  Danny and I enjoyed comparing them and noting how much he has changed.  The first picture was taken on November 3, 2009 so there is 4 1/2 months in between.
